City of Vienna is offering 12 scholarships for filmmakers

Department of Culture of the City of Vienna @stadtwien is expanding its scholarship program starting with next year, making € 1.5 million annually available for fellowships. City Councillor @veronicakauphasler, announced today that artists of the genres theater, performance, film, composition, drama, literature and visual arts / media art have the opportunity to submit their concepts ---> starting June 2021.

Filmmakers receive 12 annual scholarships: €18,000 each per year. The Cultural Department supports the creation of a basic cinematic concept, e.g. a screenplay (feature film) or shooting concept (documentary film), which does not yet meet the requirements for project development or film production.
