Applications for the Global Change Award 2022 open in just a few weeks’ time. If you have an idea that can help turn the fashion industry into a planet positive one – get ready! With a planet positive mindset, the fashion industry can operate in ways that regenerate instead of deplete earth’s resources. The aim is to find planet positive innovations that not only look at circularity and climate change, but consider all aspects of earth’s natural support systems: land, water, oceans, climate and biodiversity. These support systems are called the global commons and include resources that we all need to survive, thrive and prosper. To secure a safe and just future for humanity, these resources, or boundaries, need to be protected, respected and restored. We’re open from August 25.
