With uncertain times brought forth by current events, we at the International Biennial Association (IBA) hope you are all safe and well.
Following the evolving news of COVID-19, many biennials originally scheduled to take place in the near future have been suspended or postponed. That being said, there are biennials that are opting to move towards digital options to provide access to visitors from all over the world without the need to travel.
Instead of our usual recommendation to visit an upcoming biennial, we strongly encourage all members and biennial enthusiasts to practise protective measures put forth by local governments and health organisations. In addition, in order to access updated information about your favourite biennials, we suggest visiting their websites and social media outlets for details on adjusted dates and access to online biennial content.
We will continue to closely monitor the situation at hand and provide updates as they are made available, as mentioned in our published statement.
