/ Maria Lassnig Foundation TRAVEL GRANT 2027 in cooperation with the Secession
In collaboration with the Secession, the Maria Lassnig Foundation is awarding a travel grant for artists for the third time to promote their professional development. Artists who are Austrian citizens or permanent residents of Austria (proof required via an extract from the residents' registration office) are invited to apply. The destination(s) and duration of the trip are freely selectable. The partner organizations cannot guarantee on-site support or handle travel arrangements for the grant recipient. The travel grant is endowed with EUR 10,000 and is awarded annually. Upon completion of the project, the grant recipient submits a final report.
Applications for projects in 2027 can be submitted as a single PDF to info@marialassnig.org by November 19, 2026. Applications should be concise and include the following: a vivid description of the travel project (1 A4 page), and a dossier on the applicant's life and work to date (1 A4 page, including web links and a few images). The jury will select the winning project in early December 2026. Applicants will be notified in writing after the selection process is complete.
