On Saturday, October 2nd, 2021, this year's “ORF Long Night of Museums” will take place across


Austria. For the 21st time, ORF is making it possible for visitors to visit a large n


umber of museums with just one ticket with the “ORF Long Night of Museums”. This year, around 650 museums and galleries are taking part and opening their doors from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. In addition to varied exhibitions, there are also many exciting and special events on offer. Visitors can choose their personal highlights from the rich offer and visit all participating houses and events with just one ticket. Do not miss this unique opportunity: In addition to smal

For your own safety, please observe the applicable protective measures. Meeting point at the museum The meeting point for all visitors is the “Museum Meeting Point”; most of the footpaths and bus routes also start here. Tickets, booklets with extensive information on the program offers and information on the walking and bus routes of the “Long Night” are available at every “Treffpunkt Museum”.


Tickets

Get your ticket in advance at tickets.ORF.at (until September 26, 2021) and from all participating museums and cultural institutions. On the day of the event also at the “Museum Meeting Point”, which will be set up in your state capital.

The tickets cost regular € 15.00 and reduced price € 12.00 (for schoolchildren, students, senior citizens, people with disabilities, military servants and Ö1 Club members). Regional tickets cost € 6 and entitle you to enter the regional museums. Free entry for children up to 12 years.


Booklets

Would you like to get an overview of the exhibitions and events and make sure not to miss any of the highlights? The booklets help to put together an individual program, they offer detailed information and program descriptions. They are available free of charge in all participating cultural institutions as well as at the “Treffpunkt Museum” and can be downloaded here.




Children's action

All museums that offer a special children's program are marked with the note “Children's program” (in the “Categories” info box).

Every visit to the museum is confirmed in the “Children's Pass”. From the third visit onwards, there will be a small surprise present at the “Museum Meeting Point”. If you do not have the opportunity to come to the meeting point, send the stamped children's pass to:
