The Agora Cultural Center in Wrocław in cooperation with artistic organisations from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland invites participation in an open call as part of the international Open Air Theater Festival. The call is addressed to young artists connected to various types of circus, theatre and music, for whom an important creative element is the construction of new values at the meeting point of different cultures, using various fields of art. The workshop theme will be climate change, which affects us beyond all possible divisions. The aim of the week-long residency in Wrocław is to create a unique, interdisciplinary project based on the ideas and cooperation of four representatives from each of the Visegrad countries. Ada Tabisz will be the creative coordinator for the residency and shape its process. The call is open to theatre makers, with a special focus on circus performers, acrobats, performers, dancers and musicians under the age of 26. The organisers provide accommodation in Wrocław and meals for the duration of the project, plus a symbolic 450 PLN (~100 EUR) for personal needs and reimbursement of travel costs to and from Wrocław. The residency will run 12-18 September 2021, with a final performance on the last day.
