Applications for the Arts Innovator Award are open!


The Arts Innovator Award recognizes artists who demonstrate innovation in their art practice. These unrestricted awards of $25,000 are given annually to two Washington State artists of any discipline who are originating new work, experimenting with new ideas, taking risks, and pushing the boundaries of their fields. The Arts Innovator Award application closes on Monday, March 20, 2023.

Office Hours is a free grantwriting support program for artists of all disciplines looking for advice on how to apply for funding from Artist Trust. Artist Trust staff will provide artists a 20-minute, one-on-one consultation where we’ll walk artists through the application process for our grants, provide feedback on their grant application components, and answer any questions they have about the selection process.Register for March 2 Office Hours Register for March 9 Office Hours Register for March 10 Office Hours Pop into this open Zoom session on Tuesday, March 14, from 1 – 3 p.m. to work on your 2023 Arts Innovator Award application. During Study Hall you can speak with program staff, work through your application on mute, or request a breakout session with another applicant for support.
