How to understand today's world and the profound changes that await us? Where can one find reliable information and food for thought to counteract the disinformation that is being spread mainly on social networks, where it is very difficult to verify the reliability of the content? Amidst this cacophony, science museums have always raised their voices, and now more than ever they need to.
Based on this deep conviction, the Swiss Academy of Sciences (SCNAT) is calling for applications for the Prix Expo 2023. The competition is aimed at scientific exhibitions that are shown in Switzerland. The Prix Expo honors exhibitions in Switzerland that convey the fascination of nature and the natural sciences to a broad public in a technically sound and experience-oriented manner. It is endowed with CHF 10,000 and has been awarded annually by the SCNAT since 2003.
Closing date: June 1, 2023
Proceedings
The exhibition should be open at least one month after receipt of the application so that the jury has enough time to visit it. The jury evaluates in particular the scientific level, the didactic implementation, the artistic presentation and the originality of the exhibitions.
