As part of the 30th FILMKUNSTFEST Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, FILMLAND MV gGmbH and Künstlerhaus Lukas Ahrenshoop are again awarding a grant for young screenwriters under the title FILM RESIDENCE MECKLENBURG-VORPOMMERN.
Young authors, directors and creative filmmakers who have made at least one feature film can apply from now up to and including June 5, 2021 (postmark).
The following must be submitted for the application:
the project idea or synopsis
(maximum 1 page, possibly with reference to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania),
a letter of motivation,
a résumé

The FILMLAND MV gGmbH decides on the award of the scholarship
in coordination with the Künstlerhaus Lukas.
The scholarship is a scholarship allowance of 1,000 €
endowed with a one-month free working stay in the
associated month of November (residence requirement) in the Künstlerhaus Lukas in Ahrenshoop.
The scholarship holder will be publicly announced at the opening of the 30th FILMKUNSTFEST MV
on August 31, 2021, so that attendance in
Schwerin is requested on that day. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Filmkunstfest
will take place from August 31 to September 5, 2021 this year.
