The interdisciplinary artspace bremerhaven is calling for project ideas from regional, national and international artists to perform in unusual places in ‘Alte Bürger’, Bremerhaven, from 24 to 25 August 2024.
artspace bremerhaven presents art from across all disciplines in empty spaces, shops, pubs, studios, galleries, stairwells, apartments and on the street. The programme turns streets, workshops, galleries, halls, studios, apartments, commercial spaces and vacant lots into a stage, a screen and a resonance space for art.
artspace bremerhaven is open to all artists and cultural workers. Applicants can apply as an individual artist or as a collective, however, performances should be no longer than 20 minutes. Once artists are selected, they will be assigned a current vacancy.
All selected artists and collectives receive artist fees, subsidies for materials, and reimbursement for accommodation and travel expenses. However, there is a maximum of 1,000 EUR offered for travel costs.
