Founded in 1969, the Scuola Internazionale di Grafica is an independent institution located in one of the liveliest area of central Venice, Cannaregio. Our programs are designed to support serious artists making important work in ideal, inspiring conditions.
Artist Studio Residencies are offered throughout the year to professional and practicing artists working in Printmaking, the Artist’s Book, Drawing & Painting, Illustration and Calligraphy.
Resident artists have access to the studios and library 7 days a week. While working on their individual projects, they are encouraged to interact with the Scuola’s international creative community and participate in all the courses and workshops in calendar at no additional fees.
For 50 years, our resident artists have worked side by side with Italian and international artists and have taken part in our daily activities: workshops, seminars, presentations, exhibitions, visits to collections and libraries.
