VISITOR PROGRAMME: CURATORS

Throughout the year, Phileas organises and funds research trips to Austria for international curators from Biennials, museums and art institutions. These trips - many of which are planned and guided by Phileas team members - include visits to artists' studios, galleries, artist-run spaces, museums and foundations. They serve to establish direct connections between the Austrian and international art worlds and have led directly to a number of successful collaborations. Since 2015, more than 70 international curators have visited Austria as part of Phileas research trips.

Applications for funding collaborations in 2023 must be submitted no later than Monday 12th September 2022.
